EXPERIENCE II DESERTS - 2021

 Ibai Fradejas proposes a new adventure within the XPLORE EXPERIENCES gravel universe. This time we will pedal through two deserts, Monegros and Bardenas Reales, in a circular circuit starting and finishing from Zaragoza (269 km and 1,200 m).

II Deserts aims to be a bikepacking trip experience, open to everyone, a meeting in which everyone must be responsible for himself and self-sufficient.

The track is designed to be done entirely with gravel bikes. And it is divided into two very rolling stages: Stage 1: Zaragoza- Tudela of 171km and stage 2: Tudela- Zaragoza of 98km.
Exploration and good atmosphere will be the basis. Far from a competitive nuance, the "XPLORE Experiences" seek to be something more, to bring us together, create a bond, community and enjoy the "cycling culture".

II DESERTS  ITINERARY

Saturday, May 22: Zaragoza - Tudela

Distance: 172 KmLevel: + 1.100 m

We will leave Zaragoza and, on our way to Tudela, we will take a detour to enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the two deserts that give name to the event: Los Monegros and Las Bardenas Reales. In this stage we will accumulate most of the elevation gain of the trip.

Sunday, May 23: Tudela - Zaragoza

Distance: 98 KmLevel: + 100 m

We will return to Zaragoza in a very rolling stage that runs along the Canal Imperial.
