Caja Rural and Gsport, together at the Tour de France...

“Sometimes dreams come true.”

That was the message used by Caja Rural-Seguros RGA to announce that the team will be present at the Grand Départ of the Tour de France this year.

On that day, eight riders from Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, wearing their iconic green GSPORT kit, will begin three weeks of racing. It will be an incredible journey towards Paris for the team, its sponsors, and its partners.

A Brief History of Caja Rural

These will be the team’s first pedal strokes in the history of La Grande Boucle. Although Caja Rural as a sponsor was present at the Tour de France in 1987 and 1988, with Marino Lejarreta as team leader, this will be the first time the current team structure takes on this challenge.

A challenge for which they certainly do not lack experience. With more than three decades in the international peloton and an enormous amount of enthusiasm, they are ready to fulfill one of their greatest dreams.

When we say this invitation is a well-deserved reward for the team’s work, it is because talking about Caja Rural-Seguros RGA means talking about everything that is right in cycling. It is a team that lives and breathes the sport at its deepest level.

With a history full of major achievements and memorable moments, they have always proven themselves to be a family, taking care of every detail and every relationship with their partners and collaborators. For all of us who are part of this project in one way or another, that is something special. It is easy to feel like part of the family, to work together, and to celebrate successes such as this one as if they were our own.

Being at the 2026 Tour de France is the result of a long journey. A journey that includes everything from their development team, ALEA, to the eight riders who will have the privilege of experiencing the race firsthand. Their commitment to grassroots cycling, their dedication to developing riders both as athletes and as individuals, and their support of countless cyclists throughout their history are among the keys to their success.

For GSPORT x Caja Rural-Seguros RGA...

This will also be our first time participating in the most important race in the world of cycling. Doing so alongside Caja Rural-Seguros RGA is, for all the reasons mentioned above, both a source of pride and an incredible opportunity.

We must also recognize that this achievement reflects the quality of the work we have done and the support we have provided to such an important team. Throughout this partnership, we have continuously delivered products at the highest level to help riders perform at their best. We never stop working to further develop our Pro-Race range, introducing constant innovations and improvements based on direct communication with teams and riders.

And there is something else we want to share: the iconic green of Caja Rural-Seguros RGA will travel every kilometre of the French Grand Tour in a special-edition design.

From the moment we heard the news, we knew that such a historic and unique occasion deserved a truly special kit. We immediately got to work to ensure that the riders would wear our garments on a stage they had never reached before, and we will be there to support them every step of the way.

As you can imagine, we are delighted, excited, and fully convinced that we are ready to rise to the challenge ahead.

And in case we have not said it enough already: GSPORT will be at the Tour de France alongside Caja Rural-Seguros RGA.
