VICTORY FOR OLIVIA ONESTI IN THE FRENCH XCO CUP

This weekend, young French cycling talent Olivia Onesti of the BH Coloma Team cemented her status with an impressive victory in the French XCO Cup, in the U23/Elite category, reaffirming her place among the country’s top cross-country Olympic (XCO) riders.
The competition, held on a demanding technical and physically challenging course in Lons-le-Saunier, showcased an intense battle among the nation’s leading riders. Demonstrating excellent fitness and tactical intelligence, Olivia stayed with the leading group from the start, then imposed a relentless pace that allowed her to open a decisive gap in the final laps.
With this victory, Olivia Onesti not only earns crucial points in the national rankings but also consolidates her progression towards the international elite, in a key year ahead of European and World Championship commitments. As part of the French development team, she has shown consistent growth and is increasingly positioning herself among the top figures in the global XCO scene.
After crossing the finish line, Olivia Onesti expressed her gratitude to her team and highlighted the difficulty of the course:
