SCOTT CALA BANDIDA WINS TWO STAGES OF THE TITAN DESERT 2023

Scott Cala Bandida gana dos etapas de la Titan Desert 2023

The Titan Desert 2023, the MTB race par excellence that runs through the Moroccan desert in 600 kilometers and almost 8,000 meters of positive elevation gain, has left very good marks for Scott Cala Bandida. No.

Our bandits get a good taste in their mouths in this edition of the Titan Desert, the winner of two of the six stages. The first day served them to demonstrate their good form and be in the first positions of the race. A steady climb where Sergio Manteconhad the best time of the team. It was in the second stage where the good course of the team was endangered, since a mechanical failure prevented Sergio from getting the general classification, causing him to lose many minutes.

Although Mantecón already knew that he was not eligible for the general, he did not give up. He began to come back, followed by his team, until reaching the third stage where he won gold.

The fourth day took place in the Merzouga desert, sandy terrain that made the race even more difficult. In the fifth stage they managed to come back with Sergio finishing in second position and Michael breaking into the top 10.

In the last stage, Sergio he got back on track by finishing first and taking the second gold of the event. This last effort made him finish fifth in the general classification. Pablo, Michael and Sergio also won the team bronze.

After this great run, we look forward to seeing you again at the XCM this May 21.
