GSPORT at the 2026 Vuelta a Andalucía Ruta del Sol

The 72nd Vuelta a Andalucía, better known as the Ruta del Sol, is now history. Five stages across Andalusian lands, with the sun shining and a spring-like climate as witness, filled every town along the route with cycling and color.

For the sixth consecutive edition, GSPORT was in charge of dressing the leaders of each classification and serving as the main sponsor of an event that is part of our identity. The Ruta del Sol is not just a stage race that brings together the best teams and riders in the world; it goes beyond that, standing out as an event that showcases the passion for cycling in a community where art, culture, the land, and its people make it unique and special.

Regarding the competition, this year the race took the riders from Benahavís, in the interior of Málaga province, on Wednesday, to finish on Sunday in Lucena, Córdoba. Over five days, the riders experienced the beauty and challenge of an Andalusian route that featured stunning landscapes of coast, countryside, and mountains. Young Vallisoletano rider Iván Romeo of the Movistar Team claimed the overall victory and wore the GSPORT yellow jersey for three stages after winning the second stage in Otura.

Once again, working alongside the Vuelta a Andalucía and being part of such a significant event is, for GSPORT, one of the highlights of the year in the professional cycling calendar. Without a doubt, while it is time to savor this edition, we are already looking forward to the next one.
