PODIUM FOR THE SCOTT CALA BANDIDA IN THE TITAN DESERT

First participation for the Scott Cala Bandida in the Titan Desert with an explosive partner. Sergio Mantecon and Miguel Faus didn't disappoint.

The past 8th and 13th of May, the TITAN DESERT took place in Morocco, the emblematic race in which for 6 days you will live a real adventure of 645 kilometers going from the amazing cliffs of the Atlas to the desert passing through the palm groves which were full of vegetation.

A different type of racce than the ones they are used to, this one was useful for them to put themselves to the test. The first part of the race, which has the first three stages, was hard for both of them and were full of setbacks, that appeared due to the complexity of the terrain and the difficulty that adds the navegation in this race.

While the stages were going by, our cyclists were improving thei weeknesses and they started applying everything they learned in the first setbacks and started to get better sensations of the race.

The previous work and suffer gave its results as the team was able to get a two piece in the 5th stage, with Sergio Mantecón securing the first place and Miquel Faus behind him. The cantabro also got the best time in the stretch of the ŠKODA Challenge.

For the Scott Cala Bandida it has been an amazing experience, filled with unforgettable moments for the team and mostly a lot of learning for future editions.
