THE TEAM GOMUR BELIVES IN GESPORT CUSTOM TO MAKE THEIR EQUIPATON FOR THIS SEASON
It’s a pleasure for us GSport to be able to equipe the Team Gomur, formerly known as Camargo Ferroatlántica. One of the most historic cycling teams in the Elite/U23 category, which will represent Cantabria in the Spain Cup Elite/Sub23 on Road.
The past Saturday 12 of March, the Team Gomur - Cantabria Infinita presented its runners and the equipment they’ll be using for this 2022 season, characterized by the pink color that differentiates them from the rest of the groups.
For all cycling lovers, being able to dress up one of the most historical teams when it comes to Spain Elite/sub23 cyclism is an amazing challenge and we are very excited about it. For this to be possible the GSport design department and the team management, selected the following design for the equipment: the Aero custom for the culotte and the T-Aero custom for the maillot.
The Culotte Aero Custom is made of 3 different lycras that combine to create an optimal fit to allow high performances in the races. We’ve made the seams flat for a higher comfort this in order to avoid grazes after many hours on the bike. For the badana they choosed our custom G8, recommended for trips as high as +6h, it is developed with foam composed of open cell layer. The microperforation of the foam makes possible to have more air flow this reduces the drying time and it gives a nice fresh sensation and making posible to dty it quick.
The Maillot T-Aero has been made with lycra, which is microperforated on the front, in the back there is a layer of carbon fiber wire and on the sides we have grid side panels. An aerodynamic and high performance piece of clothing. Their sleeves are made with shredded lycra and interior silicone, this will give the cyclist the comfort that he needs during the race.
The Gomur squad for this 2022 season has 14 racers, 4 of them come from the MMR Academy, which belongs to the excyclist Samuel Sanchez, usual quarry of the Gomur. The four chosen ones are: Alain Suarez, Samuel Fernandez, Pablo Rubio and Diego Herran.
From the first races where the Cantabric team has participated, we should highlight the 56 GUADIANA TRACK, the first race from the Spain Cup Elite/Sub23. The XXXI TROPHY GUERRITA-MEMORIAL JUAN ROMERO AND DIEGO SANCHEZ. And the XVIII AITZONDO KLASIKA,which took place the past 13th of March, were Angel Coterillo, ended the race in the 5th place for the Gomur and this made it possible for him to secure the top spot on the general leaderboard after the three races that were realized.
The Spain Cup Elite/Sub23 had a total of 11 scorable races, where the Team Gomur – Cantabria Infinita could show what they were capable of and the potential of all of their racers.
